I grew up in a country town from the day that I was born. Blue endless sky’s dust and flies a land I call my home. I felt the need to leave one day and travel through this world. I joined the team of army green and marched to the new world. Our spirits high we won’t die adventure cause we’re bold. Well I don’t know they said to go they’re evil so I’m told. Another’s land we shoot to kill and maim if we must. They’re not like us I’ll do my job I just don’t see the fuss.
Two years and seven months my blood is turning cold. All the things I’ve seen and done weigh heavy on my soul. I’ve seen the worst of human beings and they’re mostly on my side. We don’t fight for freedom boy we only fight for pride.
